Two Nights - Killarney or Galway in June

Coming from Cashel, we're trying to decide whether to use Killarney/Kenmare or Galway as a base for two nights before driving to Dublin. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends what you want to do and see.

Between the two you have
Adare Tourist option
Limerick City Option
or Ennis my option as a touring base for the former Shannon region and the whole of Clare.

Killarney and Galway are probably the two main tourist bases with umpteen tour bus's running to the main guide book features of the Ring of Kerry, Dingle or The Cliffs of Moher and Aran Isles, Kylemore and Connemara.

personally, just for two nights I would choose Galway, very nice live music inside pubs and on the street. If you go in Galway don't miss fish and chips on the first restaurant you find on your left, just after the bridge (sorry, but I don't remember the name). And maybe you could spend one day in one of the Aaran island (you can pick an excursion for the Aaran in one of the travel agencies you will find in the main square). Galway is lovely!!!
