Two bedroom apt in Venice?
We are looking for a two bedroom apartment in Venice for 4 nights in early June. This will be for two couples-so we want two double beds not twins.
I prefer the San Marco, San Polo, or Dorsoduro areas. Of corse, I could tell you all the things we WANT - but we do have a budget of around $400 per night (300 euros). Those other things-which we can compromise on are: clothes washer, two bathrooms,, and canal view. We don't care if we have to walk up lots of stairs.
I have looked on several websites- but wanted to see if any Fodorites can recommend a specific one!
We were in Venice in 2008 (just my husband and I) and we stayed in an apt recommended by Frano (on this forum) and it was perfect for us. I am hoping to gave another great recommendation from here as well!

As one option, take a look at venicerentals.com. Their procedure is that you email them a list of your requirements and then they provide a list of what's available. We used them, and everything went well. It's a husband-wife team. He's Italian and she's American.
I think, with your budget, you should find lots of options.

We stayed in this 3 bedroom for two weeks. Checks a lot of your boxes!

We spent a very happy two months here a couple of years ago. Not sure if the twin beds would be a deal breaker ...

Here's another place I have bookmarked also in Dorsoduro. The twin beds can be made into a queen - we've had that in many places and it's quite comfortable (if done properly - I'd ask what they do)

We stayed in this Dorsoduro apartment in June. The apartment was great and the agency was very good to work with. http://www.viewsonvenice.com/our_pro...elle_arti.html
