Troublesome teeth and air travel: experiences?

Jump to last reply

Help! I'm supposed to be going to France in two weeks for a three-week trip to Normandy, Brittany, and Paris, and am suddenly having problems with a couple of back teeth, both of which need root canals, according to my dentist. Neither is in "crisis" (as in intense pain) and I wouldn't be as concerned if I were not traveling by plane. A friend of mine who was in similar situation ended up in agony during and after a US cross-country flight and needed dental work right away. I'm pretty confused about what to do. Two weeks is not a good window of time for two root canals. Does anyone have a similar experience? Also, does anyone know a good dentist in Normandy, Brittany, or Paris? I'd be grateful for any info. Thanks.
