Trouble with SNCF Web Site

For the last couple of days, I cannot reach the schedule and ticket purchasing part of the SNCF web site. I can get to the main page; I can even get to the English overlay.
But beyond that I can see nothing. No response at all.

Has anyone else had similar difficulties?

Hi Bob - I just tried it, got all the way up to booking a ticket (but I'm not planning a trip now)! I had a similar problem, though, with sncf a year or so ago - it lasted for a couple of weeks - don't know what the problem was - maybe you can try clearing out your cookies???

Yes, I've been trying to check on schedules for friends of mine, and cannot get the reservations/schedule page to load properly - it's just blank.

sorry, but for most routes in Europe, Rail Europe is useless. As far as buying tickets is concerned, no dice. I am not about to pay RE prices when I can get it some 50% or more cheaper by going to the source.

I can get schedules for most of Western Europe through national sites, such as the German Die Bahn site, which is nearly comprehensive for Europe west of Poland-Slovakia-Czech Republic.
But

sorry, but for most routes in Europe, Rail Europe is useless; it simply does not have the detailed information. As far as buying tickets is concerned, no dice. I can usually find out what I want to know schedule wise.

But I cannot get international ticket prices.
For trips that originate in France, and the train remains "French" I can usually find the price. (e.g. Paris to Zürich.)
