Trocadero fountains & water canons - what time?
I leave for France 30 days from today! Woohoo! While in Paris I'd like to see the water canons and fountains in action at Jardins du Trocadero. Does anyone know at what time they start each hour and how late in the day/evening/night they continue? Merci!

No one knew much several years ago and it seems the same today - but keep topping so our Paris experts will sooner or later see it.

PalenQ, I did read that thread and came to the same conclusion - no one knew back then. I've googled and googled and can't find the answer on any site. Here's hoping one of our Paris experts can shine some light on the topic.
kwren- I did read somewhere that the fountains continue until frosts start and it gets cold. But, who knows when that might be!

They fountains have been on at times in October but I wouldn't count on it.
If they do them, typically they are at the top of the hour, like the Eiffel Tower, for about 10 minutes. And I know they have done them in the evening, certainly early evening, but don't know if they continue to midnight or so like the ET or not.
I wouldn't change my itinerary around this, but if you are in the area, you could try to be there at the top of an hour. I think it may be more likely on weekends, also. There is no published schedule.

I found this by googling the French words 'Trocadero fontaines'.
Came up with this:
(every 15 first minutes of every hour and grand finale - every last 10 minutes of every hour)
De 10h00 à 22h00, du lundi au vendredi
(10am - 10pm Mon - Fri)
Weird thing is there was no link but in the search results, it was listed under some guy's blog with this title:

Here is another site I found:
http://carnet-aux-petites-choses.fr/...il-fait-chaud/
Looks like you should be there at a quarter of the hour, but again, I don't know how accurate this is.

The City was working on the fountains earlier this year - I haven't been over that way to see if it's finished, but that's possibly why there is no published schedule. Couldn't hurt to go at the times suggested, though.

Looks like we have answers! Thank you kwren! I appreciate your French googling skills! I will be there at 10 minutes before the hour.
fuzzbucket, if you find yourself in the hour and can give us an update on construction work, I certainly would appreciate it.
Thanks!

I just returned from my 9 nights in Paris and thought I would post a follow-up. The water pools are once again empty! So, neither the fountains nor the water canons are in operation! We were so disappointed. I have no information to share as to why the pools are drained and the water features off once again. But, what a shame. We were so looking forward to the spectacle. Maybe next visit....

According to this information posted in 2018, the fountains are turned on for the first 15 minutes of each hour. It also says that for the final 'bouquet'(?), the small and large cannons are on for the last 10 minutes of each hour.
Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday - Holidays 10 a.m. - midnight
