Trip to Tuscany

I am planning a trip to Tuscany in July. I arrive in Rome at 9:00 am and plan to travel north. I have been looking for days on the internet for hotels/B&B's.
Help
Should I go to Montalcino (Giglio Hotel) or Montepulciano (Meuble Il Riccio)
In Sienna - I have chosen Il Casato
In Florence - Bernini Palace
and in Garfagnana - Rustico Sara
Does anyone know anything about these places or have others to recommend?
Thanks so much for any help!
Julia

Have not stayed at any of these, but have seen the Hotel Giglio. It has beautiful views, but a little bit of an uphill walk to town.
We stayed elsewhere when there last year. If we stay in Montalcino this year, we might decide to stay with them.
We will be staying in Garfagnana for the first time this year (Oct.).Look foward to your review.

I haven't stayed at any of those hotels, but we did stay outside Pienza at La Saracina. It was my favorite place we stayed in Italy and I have gone the past 5 summers. It is nicer than the website portrays. http://www.lasaracina.it/menu_eng.htm

Thanks for the suggestions. I will let you all know how Rustico Sara is in Garfagnana.

I've stayed at Il Giglio in Montalcino and really enjoyed my stay there. Ask for a room with a view. However, I don't think they have AC and I'm not sure how the weather will be in July...
