Trip to Germany - Need some Guidance

Jump to last reply

We are a couple that enjoy culture, nature and Love Europe. We are flying to Munich in May, for 13 effective days ( not including fly in/out time). We are planning to stay in Munich for 4 nights to get to go around the city, go to Dachau for a day trip, we are running a ½ marathon during that time too., etc. Then, we will be rent a car on our 5th day to go to the Fusen area, to visit the castles, the Zugpitze, the tallest in Germany, and go around for 3 days . Possible stay in Fusen. After that we are considering to drive to the Rhine Valley and stay in a Castle Hotel for 4 days, and we will go around the river , visit museums, wine places, ect .. and thn we will head to Rotenberg for last two nights before heading home. Is this doable? My concern is the drive for Rottemberg to Munich airport the day of the flight, should I stay one night in Rotenberg and then Munich? Or perhaps it is much time on the Rhine?

Any suggestion will be welcome please.

Thank you!
