Help w/ WHAT!!!!
Give us something (anything) to work with.
When? Which blend/single malt(s) do they prefer? What sort of budget? Do you have any ideas/plans at all or are you flying blind?
Speaking as a golfer, I am not sure I could leave the planning of a Scottish golf trip to someone else. This will be the greatest golf trip of their life. They need to do a little thinking themselves. Or maybe they have and it didn't quite make it into your post?
I've done one of these before- although all three were in their 20s.
If you email me, I'll send what I did for them
If three grown adults tried to make me choose a holiday for them, I would deliberately make it so bad that they would never rely on me for something like that again.
I need flight info from Toronto, hotel, B&B suggestions, three great golf places and single malt tasting tours. My husband likes Oban, glenmorangue,Dawhinnie.I am just beginning the plans and am stymied. Thanks for all your help.
There ya go Janisj. I'm right behind you.
There are dozens of great golfing places. None, however, near Oban or Dalwhinnie. But you can drink malt whisky anywhere. anywhere.
I'm tempted to suggest Glenmorangie (how can anyone like Glenmorangie AND Oban?- they must be direct opposites on the taste wheel) and Royal Dornoch.
Most good golf courses are in the south. Exceptions would be Royal Dornoch; Nairn, Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay, Machrihanish and Machrie.
How many days do they have? And how many courses do they want to play in a day?
A trip north would be great . . Royal Dornoch ia a FABULOUS course/experience, and Cruden Bay is terrific. And in between are all Speyside and Dufftown distilleries.
