Triberg, Germany by train
Can anyone tell me how far from the train station in Triberg we would have to walk to get to:
a) the waterfall?
b) House of 1000 clocks?
We're thinking of stopping in Triberg for about 2 hours. I found a map on Mapquest, but it's not precise enough.
Thanks. Peace, Robyn >-

Hi Robyn, it's me again...
The walk from the train station to the entrance of the waterfalls will take about 15 minutes, including a look into some shop windows along the way. Follow the main street into the center of the little town (first named "Frejusstraße", then "Hauptstraße", this will take you to the waterfalls.
Here is a more detailed map of Triberg: http://www.regio360.com/en/triberg_e...&langue=en. The waterfalls can be entered from the sharp bend of the Hauptstraße; the map shows the little river Gutach, unfortunately the waterfalls aren't marked.
I don't remember exactly where the "Haus der 1000 Uhren" is, but it's somewhere along the main street, so you'll pass there anyway.
I think this can be done in 2 hours, but an hour more would make the visit more relaxed.
P.S. Buy one of those little bags of peanuts they sell at the entrance to the waterfalls and feed the squirrels and the jay birds. Really cute.
