Trenitalia Woes!
I cannot get my passwork right from the Trenitalia website. I'm shut out from accessing it on my own account (only 5 tries before it locks up). Emails to Trenitalia have not been answered. I entered as my husband on his account, set up a user ID am still waiting for a password. Just tried again on my daughter's email address and still nothing. Nothing in the spam folders. I just wanted a ticketless Eurostar reservation--seems simple enough. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks already.

It seems the website often has troubles. Is it essential for you to buy your tickets on-line?
I've never done so, and have never had any trouble getting tickets once I've arrived in Italy. I have sometimes bought them a few days in advance, when I knew specifically what train I wanted.
NB: My journeys have not involved overnight trains, large numbers of people, or national holidays.

Hi H,
How long ago did you sign up?
Do you have AOL.com?
Have you tried opening accounts at www.yahoo.com and www.hotmail.com?
They sent me a password in an itsy bitsy font. Copying an pasting it didn't work.
I saved it to a word document and increased the size of the font to 11. That did work for copy/paste.

Hey. I do have AOL as my internet provider. It's been over a week on one account and 3 days on another. I think I "forgot" my password because they didn't send me one and the usual ones I set up in these cases didn't work, of course. Have not tried another internet service provider yet. My husband has an account at work and I'll see what happens. Thanks.

They send you a password its not one you create so you did not forget it. I just finalized all my tickets with them and it worked fine on the web. The one glitch was it didnt seem to like two of my credit cards but luckily, having a third, did work. I have hotmail.

Hopeline, I feel your pain. I have been waiting for 2 days for my password, which I tried to get twice. I have AOL also. Phooey! I usually get tickets in Italy but I want to get the good 29 euro from Venice to Rome price. D'oh!

Lesli,
A quick question: I'm arriving in Bologna on a Tuesday in Octboer and need to take the ES to Rome 6 days later, on Monday, preferably the one which leaves at 08:46 - I'd like to be in Rome before lunchtime. Would you buy the ticket in Italy?

I got my password right away yesterday from Yahoo, but I cannot pass the credit card screen, it denies my card, which is good..Can you get the 29 fare from Eurostar? I tried there yesterday, but they have only loaded schedule up to July 3rd so far.
