Trenitalia Porterage Service

Need a porter to help you with luggage on and off a Trenitalia Frecciarossa or Frecciargento train?

Read this:

Note carefully the following:

1. Porterage service of offered ONLY at Roma Termini, Firenze SMN, Bologna Centrale and Milano Centrale stations

2. Porterage service is offered ONLY between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and only for Frecciarossa and Frecciargento trains (this is explained only on the Italian-language webpage);

3. Porterage service must be reserved by calling the Trenitalia call center in Italy no later than 8 p.m. of the day BEFORE travel

4. The Porterage fee of 5 Euros per piece of luggage is payable directly to the porter.


Trenitalia, in cooperation with an outside vendor, also offers a door-to-door luggage transportation service within Italy:
