Trenetalia Rail Strike April 14 - 17, 2011

Jump to last reply

I read yesterday that there is a planned Italian National Rail strike from 9:00 Pm on April 14 - 9:00 PM on April 17, 2011.

This is posted on http://www.commissionegaranziasciopero.it/ and http://www.summerinitaly.com/planning/strike.asp.

We are scheduled to travel from Florence to Rome on the high speed train that departs Sunday morning April 17th at 10:10 AM.

Does anybody have any additional information on this strike possibility and how it will affect the high speed trains?

Thanks.
