I always appreciate all the advice I glean on these forums and wanted to come back and report on the trip we took to Scandinavia this past June. We traveled from Stockholm to the fjords of Norway to Oslo and then drove down the western coast of Sweden until ending our trip in Copenhagen. We spent two weeks with our two kids, ages 2 and 4 (almost 5).

It was especially helpful to hear from people about the Norway in a Nutshell tour route and whether or not we could do it on our own.

Fantastic report, and advice. Thank you! i really enjoyed reading your blog as well! Heading this summer with our 2 children to Norway. Slightly intimidated, but we will arriving via Bergen and doing NIN backwards to Oslo. We will spend 2 night in Bergen, one night in Flam, and one night in Oslo. Then we take a train to visit with our Family in Tonsberg!
