Travellng in France in late September

Jump to last reply

My husband and I, in our sixties and very active and healthy are spending a week with some friends near Gordes, in the Luberon. We would like to travel for another week. We have not decided if we will fly into Marseilles and stay south or fly into Paris and drive south and leave the car in Marseilles. I was told it is quite expensive to rent in one city and leave in another. Has anyone done that? Any suggestions for a week long active ramble?
