Travelling to Amalfi Coast in April 2014

Jump to last reply

We are flying into Naples on April 23 arriving 3:35 pm . We will be making our way to Positano. Any suggestions on getting from Naples to Positano upon arrival? We are staying 3 nights there. Then on to Amalfi for 3 nights and then Salerno for 2 nights.
Our flight is out of Naples on May 2 at 11:40 am. Right now we are planning on taking the train from Salerno to Naples on the morning of our flight. Is this a good idea?

We are wanting to go to Pompeii and think we will do this from Salerno, the day before we leave to fly home. This will be a day trip. We will take the train from Salerno to Pompeii. How long of a train ride is it to Pompeii from Salerno?
Any or all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
