Travelling from venice to riomaggiore

Hi, im planning to travel from venice to riommagiore
but the search engine in trenitalia suggest me to change at florence and pisa
as im planning to go to florence and pisa after riommagiore
would it be more sensible to travel from venice to florence and pisa, spend a few days there
then travel from pisa to riommagiore? or there is a better way to do it?
thanks

It depends on what, if anything, comes after Florence, Pisa and the Cinque Terre. If nothing, where do you go to leave Italy? If something else, what?

Then visit Florence & Pisa first because, if memory serves, you don't have to return to Florence from Riomaggiore to get to Rome but will change trains in Spezia.
