Traveling to Italy over Liberation Day and May 1st

Jump to last reply

I am in the midst of planning a two-week trip to Italy at the end of April (Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence and Venice), and just realize my trip would fall over Liberation Day and May 1st, two major holidays. Should I try to change my trip to two weeks before that (it will then be the two weeks after Easter) to avoid crowds or issues with reduced transportation? With my current tentative itinerary, the day I will be traveling to Rome from the Amalfi Coast will fall on Liberation Day and I will have my last full day in Florence on May 1st. Thanks!
