traveling to Europe with two teens
I have narrowed down my travels, thanks for the respohses. I am traveling with two teens and my husband and I, we will be flying into sweden for 10 days and then flying to amsterdam for four days then thylms train onto paris for three days(short but sweet) and last on to london for five days. Now I can re-ask my question "What to see and what to skip? How is the river seine dinner cruise?

Wow - you really expect people to tell you what to see and what to skip in regard to 10 days in Sweden, 4 days in Amsterdam, 3 days in Paris, and 5 days in London? Have you done any research at all? Got a budget in mind? Have you engaged the teens in what they might want to see and do? Got any guidebooks? Got any particular things you're interested in doing and seeing in any of those places?
Sure, with regard to the River Seine cruise, my advice is take the Vedettes de Paris evening cruise and then walk to a nice restaurant so you get the best value for your money that evening.

Sweden: Where, I guess is the question. If Stockholm, prowl around Gamla Stan (old town), and if you are there in summer, its fun to watch the parade of the changing of the guards. We liked the Vasa museum. Don't know if the teens would like Skansen or not. I enjoyed it, my husband hated it, but if you try it and hate it, head over to Tivoli close by (an amusement park).
For Amsterdam, the museums, canal boat ride, and just walking around, including the red light district.
Paris -- well, if they haven't been, hit the usual tourist spots. I'd skip the dinner cruise, but would definitely take the evening cruise (without dinner) and byob.

My best advice is to get the kids' buy-in before you head to the airport. Buy guidebooks and let them pick an activity or two they want to see/visit. Otherwise, they (and you) will be miserable. Make sure they are VERY involved in planning the trip - otherwise, you will be DRAGGING two teens through Europe.
