Travel throught Europe

I am planning a 16-day trip throughout Europe. I want to understand the best way to travel via rail once I arrive in London. I plan to go London to Paris, Paris to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Brussels, and finally Brussels back to London. All suggestions are welcomed. I am trying to understand how Thalys, Eurostar, and Eurail passes work.

One thought - will you return to London because you must for your flight home? Or another reason. If the former, consider flying home from Brussels. Or elsewhere, if your itinerary changes. For a short trip, 1 day is valuable.

To add to that, consider London - Paris - Brussels - Amsterdam and fly home out of Amsterdam: it means less backtracking (the Thalys trains from Paris to Amsterdam stop in Brussels anyway), and you may have more options to fly home nonstop out of Schiphol than Brussels airport.

Sounds like a great trip!

Eurail is just a reseller for passes and tickets in europe - they operate no trains.

Eurostar runs specific trains from London to Paris and Brussels. Tickets for this should be bought as soon as possible - since costs go up - significantly - the closer you get to the travel date.

I agree to return from Amsterdam to save time and money that backtraking will take.

Is anyone familiar with https://www.b-europe.com/Travel? The price varies so much with all the resellers. I am just trying to find reputable company to purchase tickets.
