Travel Talk Greatest Hits
I'm looking to assemble the best of the forums -- threads that are especially informative, insightful, or plain funny. Goal is to make sure that the best material generated by our community (and there's lots of it) will be easier to browse, and won't scroll off into the ether....
Post your nominations here, or feel free to send them to me.

What a great idea!
I seem to remember someone wrote about a Trip to Hell, I sort of liked that one LOL
Remember all of Elviras reports.
Mina ( CrazyMina) wrote a great trip report about going to Ireland..something about the Sheep and the rearview mirror..brilliant.
She also wrote about her Backpacking/Hostel Travels which are must reads for all travelers! imho
There are so many clever and experienced travelers here, who else...

Hi Peter,
I'm curious, why just the Europe and US forums?
I like "Scarlett Goes to Hell." Also, any of degas' Paris Walks. I'll let you find them, as I've given up on the search feature.
I hope this doesn't mean that during the restructuring/reformatting fodors could potentially lose posts not on this list you're forming. It's often the obscure information about the out-of-the-way places that make the message board so valuable.

Peter,
Perhaps you've already done so and I missed it, but can you please tell us what all you are responsible for as Interactive Media Director? I was thinking the oversight of software, design and applications. In addition to those things, are you also in charge of content [for an unannounced revamp of this website]? So, in other words, is the total redesign of Fodor's (if that's what's happening), "your Baby"?
It seems you have very recently started participating in the forums. What can you tell us?

If we're looking for the best of Elvira, it should definitely be the Venice by houseboat one titled something about the toilet sucking mud and ham tacos. But try as I have, I can't find it anywhere.
