I have looked at Ryanair and EasyJet for fligths between Rome and Luxembourg.
Looks like the nearest city for Luxembourg may be Brussels.
Is there another airline which flies this route.
If Brussels is the closest city-do I have to go into city of Brussels and take the
train to Luxembourg or would anyone know if there is an airport shuttle-or bus
Brussels to Luxembourg.
Thanks

My sister lived in Luxembourg for many years -- she often took Ryanair places. Not 100% sure but do not think she ever flew out of Brussels. If I'm remembering correctly, she used Frankfurt-Hann (which really isn't IN Franfurt). I am waiting on a call back from her to confirm. Of course, this was a couple of years ago, so the airports Ryanair uses may have changed since then.
That's it -Frankfort-Hahn. Thanks so much. When I searced for that airport I was able to find the bus link to Lux. and it is so much closer than Brussels.
LUXAIR has a daily non-stop flight from Rome to Luxembourg City;
Yes, my sister confirmed Hahn, and also said the other city she used was Charleroi.
As to the mention of Luxair's flight, I assume you're looking for a major bargain if you're looking at Ryanair or EasyJet. Now, I have no idea how much Luxair's flight costs, but I will say that it is a great little airline, and if you can get a good fare, it would certainly be more convenient to fly right into LUX than make your way there from Hahn (or Charleroi).
