Travel Companion for the Festes de la Merce in Barcelona
I really want to see this festival. I think it would be amazing. I am a 26 year old student studying abroad in Rome right now and already have a hostel booked in Barcelona, but no flight. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing and experiencing the festivities with me. The festival is coming up very fast so please let me know soon.

I'm ready to go. Enjoyed the festival several years ago. Just need to put in a call to the nursing home to see if it 's OK with my husband.

I think the thorn tree forum on the Lonely Planet site is your best bet for connecting with others your age. This board tends to cater to an older crowd.

Also, try Rick Steves forum. European Travel Partners Wanted. I went solo 2 years ago to the festival and had a blast.
