TRAVEL BUDDY? THIS MAY BE A STRETCH LOL :)

SO!! HERE GOES NOTHING!!!

I would like to go on a 7-9 week trip all over Europe starting in June sometime, i have been to Poland and Germany but would really really love to visit other places all over Europe. I recently quit y job and relocated back to my native New York!, I saved up a good amount of money while working and there is nothing i would rather do than go travel! Also I was going to travel with a friend of mine but they recently got a job so can no longer go

To be a bit more specific my ideal trip would include backpacking, staying in hostels, couch surfing (to meet awesome people!!), also I love hiking and adventurous activities like bungee jumping or anything like that i love kayaking, water rafting, canoeing, basically all water sports.

Planning on flying into France, Switzerland, pretty flexible and taking train or possibly local planes form country to country

Any other questions please ask

PS its only letting me tag 5 places but i wan tto go to many more!

Suggest you go to the Thorn Tree section of the Lonely Planet website - which will have way more couchsurfers Most people here stay in hotels or apts.

Are you asking for a travel buddy as Title implies or asking for ideas and suggestions?

If the latter then check out Let's Go Europe - the Bible guide of backpack travelers like you with a wealth of info on hostels, night life, transportation, etc. Another good source is the free online European Planning & Rail Guide (http://www.budgeteuropetravel.com/#rg) - a superb look out the European train system that folks like you often use - trains go everywhere all the time - take overnight trains between zillions of places to save on time and money of a stay in a hostel or hotel. Lonely Planet' Thorn Tree as mentioned by nytraveler is another good source for your type of travel.

Agree with nyt. Thorntree has the couch surfers. Not many on this board. There is also a travel companion section on Rick Steves.
