Travel Between Munich and Zagreb
Hello Everyone, and thank you for taking the time to read my post. I live in Brisbane Australia and am planing a trip to Europe starting in May 2016. One part of our trip takes us to Munich for an overnight stay before we go onto Zagreb Croatia.
Could you please suggest the best way to get there:-
Do we fly?
Do we Night train?
Do we go by bus
Thanking you in advance.
Sue

Croatia Airlines has direct flights. Check Kayak.com for fares and see if they work for you on your dates. If the one-way fare seems expensive, try booking as a return (maybe a week later) but throwing away the second flight going from back to Munich.
Otherwise, a direct train is about eight hours. Check www.bahn.com to check train schedules. Maybe there's an overnight that would work for you.

You have day and night options.

Both Lufthansa and Croatia fly MUC-ZAG nonstop.
Expect a o/w fare in the vicinity of € 180-200.
A (fake) return flight can be a bit cheaper (appr. € 140-160 for both legs), but at least LH reserves in the terms the right to 're-calculate' the fare if you do not fly all legs.
The trains could be a scenic option - but you do NOT want to take the bus.
