Travel around Cinque Terre mid September

Jump to last reply

Hi there, I will be in Cinque Terre from the 19th to the 22nd of September.
I want to know if there are still boats running during this days? I couldn’t find info about this.
I only found one company but the last trip is on the 8th of September.
I have heard that off season there are still boats but less frequent, but can't find any.
I would like to do a bout trip through the 5 villages or one way from CT to Portofino.

I will be arriving on the 19th to Genoa at 8pm and wanted to know if it will be ok to take the train to Monterosso (I found a train around 10 pm / should I reserve the ticket in advance) or if it will be better to sleep in Genoa. Any hotel/B&B recommendations for Genoa?

Is there any ferry/boat that goes from Genoa to Portofino or CT in mid September?
If I decided to stay in Genoa will be great if the next day I could take a ferry/boat to CT instead of the train, but I need info about options including schedules and prices.

I was thinking to stay in Monterosso, do you have any recommendations? I am looking for something around 70 per double room per night.
If you have any recommendation about restaurants or anything else in CT, I will really appreciate it!

Many thanks in advance!
