In the current (September) issue of Travel and Leisure Magazine under "deals" a culinary package is offered at the Westbury Mayfair Hotel in London for 2 nights in a double room and 1 dinner for 2 in their Artisan restaurant for $430 USD. I contacted the hotel and they were not aware of the package. I contacted Travel and Leisure Magazine and they blew me off. I was offered a double room for $340/night. What a hoax!

Huh? You post to link to the exact same thing you posted on Frommers??
Hardly a "Hoax" in any case - Magazines/newspapers make mistakes
So what, things happen, this is a mistake not a hoax or a bait and switch. Why would you go to the trouble of posting this, you don't have many posts (well, two to be exact) and unless this mistake has caused alot of problems for you I don't understand the problem.
If you want to talk about hoaxs, well, that's an interesting subject which is probably best discussed in the lounge, there's lots of hoaxs and bait and switch marketing gimicks that I encounter everyday.
Autodealers market cars that don't exist. Ever seen the adds for a car at $? only to find out it really costs $? +++. What do you call that? A hoax?
There's a mighty big difference between a hoax and a mistake. Don't think you're going to find much support/sympathy here, sorry.
