Transpotation within Croatia

Jump to last reply

We're in the beginning stages of planning out trip and would like to find out if it's easy enough to to the coastal Dalmation areas without a car. This would be the end of Sept. The reason that Korcula is in the itinerary is because it seems difficult to get from Hvar to Dubrovnik - is this true?
Our loose itinerary at this time is something like;
Paris - Split - possibly Togir - I'm assuming that one would have to transport back to Split to get to Hvar. At this time Split doesn't seem to have much appeal.
Hvar
Korcula - perhaps if it seems different enough from Hvar
Dubrovnik - Paris

Does this sound like a logical route in regards to transportation? Also, would love to hear how you like or don't like each area that I've mentioned. Neighborhood (walking or close to transport) recommendations would also be appreciated. We're hoping to rent apartments but will do hotels/BBs if we can't find short term apartments.
