Transportation to motel on Bath Rd.

Do any of the Heathrow car hires provide a free shuttle to motels on Bath Road.
Have not secured a car hire but thinking of Sixt or Europcar. I called Sixt and they do not
have a shuttle that takes you to your motel once you drop off the rental car. They said they would pick you up at a motel to rent a car. Plan to take the tube from London to Heathrow for the start of the car hire.

Is there a bus that would go out to motels on Bath Rd. I imagine that a taxi would be quite costly
but if that is our only option, then we will go with that idea. Thank you for any help.

Since the first line contains both "Heathrow" and "Bath Road" and there are hotels there, one might logically assume, that Bath Road.

Do the car hire companies have a shuttle to the airport, might get a better response. If they do, then "Within the airport perimeter, which includes all of the hotels on Bath Road, public transport is free."

The Bath road is essentially the perimeter road along the north side of the airport. AFAIK no rental agency will shuttle you to the hotels on the Bath road or anywhere else except to the terminals. They have buses for that and would not divert to take you to an off airport hotel.

It would be a VERY short/cheap cab ride (in fact I once walked it - across a large car park and about 3 blocks and to one of the very closest hotels -- but most would be too far to walk)

So either call a cab or take the rental shuttle to the airport and take the Hotel Hoppa bus or a taxi from there. One time the rental agency did call a car service for me - but a taxi would be the same idea.

Try Enterprise, they have a pick up and drop off service.

I keep forgetting about Enterprise (I do use them a fair amount in the States) - because many of their sites in the UK don't offer one way rentals which is typically what I need. If Enterprise fits your needs they are a good option.

Some are walkable, Avis on Northrup Rd to the Marriott on Bath Rd is easy. I dropped my large case off at the Marriott, then dropped the car off and walked back.

Another time Hertz called me taxi to take me to probably the same hotel (but much longer walk) £12.

One of the rental car vans did drop me at the Hatton Cross tube station but they don't do hotels.

There are regular shuttle buses running from Heathrow to motels/hotels along Bath Road.

Your motel will be able to give you details.
