For an upcoming trip to Scotland, looks like my wife & I will be flying into Glasgow International; but not staying there. Our first three nights are in Edinburgh. What are our options for transportation from the airport to Edinburgh city center and the approximate cost?
Thanks very much.

suggests the simplest by public transport is bus 500 to central Glasgow, walk a minute to Queen St station and take the train from there to Edinburgh.

Or you can do the whole distance by bus, though I don't know the numbers. Both bus and train leave you in the heart of Edinburgh.
There is a bus from Glasgow bus station to Edinburgh that goes every 15 mins during that day...it's the 900...http://www.citylink.co.uk/index.php
However suggest that you stop a night in Glasgow and get a small glimpse of the 'dear green place'
