We will be traveling from Dijon and want to go to our hotel by the airport to drop off luggage and then return to Paris for the rest of the day. It appears there is only one train that actually goes from Dijon to CDG airport and we can't get to Dijon early enough to catch it. We plan to take the train to Gare de Lyon and then get to the airport hotel (Marriot) as quickly as possible. Does anyone know the quickest way (other than taxi) to get from the train station to the airport and back? is there a bus? train? metro? or should we just try to store our luggage some place in Paris? can luggage be stored at the train station? Thanks so much.

Let's see:
- Take train to Paris
- take public transportation to airport hotel
- take public transportation back to Paris
- take public transportation back to airport hotel
- next morning take hotel shuttle to CDG.
Instead, how about:
- take train to Paris, check into hotel near Gare de Lyon, see Paris, have dinner at Train Blue restaurant at the gare (a Paris "must see" IMO)
- next morning, take taxi to CDG.
We've done the latter several times for one-nighters before a flight home.

I like Stu´s recommendation but there is a luggage consignment at Gare de Lyon. You could easily leave your luggage there, visit Paris, then from Gare de Lyon take the Air France Bus #4 to CDG. Cost is 16.50€ or 15€ when purchasing tickets in advance:

Seems like a lot of fuss for nothing. Why are you staying at an airport hotel? Just take the train to Paris, spend the night, and go to the airport next morning. Why all the schlepping around?
roissy Bus is very easy from the Opera to CDG- about 10e a person.
or RER train out to CDG from downtown!

What time will you arrive in Paris from Dijon?
What time will you have to be at CDG the next day?
If you have time to spend in Paris, StuDudley's plan would be my choice, except that I would take the Air France bus from the Gare de Lyon rather than a taxi. For overnight, I can recommend the Hotel Terminus Lyon right across the street from the station and the AF bus stop. (If I'm remembering correctly, I learned of this hotel from StuDudley.)

If you are arriving in Paris late in the day and have an early departure from CDG, just have dinner at Le Train Bleu in the station, then take the AF bus (or taxi) to CDG.
