Trains Rome to Venice via Florence

Jump to last reply

We are planning to travel by train from Rome to Venice staying overnight in Florence. Would we have to buy two journeys or is there a fare to cover the two days? Having travelled by train in Italy I have a concern with luggage. It used to be first class passengers had a porter who ensured some security, otherwise your luggage is stored at the end of each carriage sometimes out of sight. Any ideas?
