Trains in Venice and Florence

Jump to last reply

I am trying to set up a Chianti wine tour during my stay in Venice. This means I would have to take a train from Venice to Florence. I checked raileurope.com and my total is about $130 round trip per person. Is this right, seems pretty steep. Does it cost less to book the train ride online before my trip?
