Bologna, Venice & Florence. We want to travel by train between cities but am not sure which is best value. Pass or just one way tickets?
Thanks in advance!

Tickets. Walk up price for the fastest trains between these cities:
Bologna/Florence 24€
Venice/Florence 45€
What you listed really doesn't make sense as Bologna is between Venice and Florence. Where are you starting/ending?
You can buy these tickets in advance as cheap as 9€ on Trenitalia (register before purchasing and notify your credit card company in advance).
http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=ad1ce14114bc9110VgnVCM10000080a3e90aRCRD
FYI - A pass wouldn't include the mandatory seat reservations on these trains (10€ each).
Thank you for the information. We fly into Bologna and are basing there for 3 days, then traveling to Venice for 3 then Florence for 4 days. I'll book through Trenitalia.
Best
