Train Tickets in Spain

Jump to last reply

I have purchased advance Spanish train tickets from either the RENFE site or from Petrabax for my last several trips to Spain. This year, I am having problems. Conventional wisdom on this site says advance ticketing is available approximately 60 days out. I want ticket from Madrid to Salamanca for October 21st and they simply are not there. When I go backward and check other dates, I find you can't buy such a ticket for dates after mid-September. I understand that seasonal schedules are released in June and December, so that issue should not be a factor. Has there been a policy change? Anyone have any ideas?
