Train Passes

Jump to last reply

Hello,my family will be travelling from Paris to Milan in July of this year (2012). We want to stop in Switzerland for a couple of nights, to see the Matterhorn and for the kids to experience a summer luge ride (or two).

I have a couple of questions and would love some advise.

1. Trains, is it better for us to buy a train pass that we can then use in all the countries and if so do we buy his ahead of time (we live in Canada).

2. What experience does anyone have with the summer luge rides, my kids are thrill seekers and are looking for adventure, are some better (read scarier) than others?

Thanks in advance.
