Train Paris to Amiens

Jump to last reply

Is it necessary to pre-book a train from Paris to Amiens, or are tickets likely to be available on a walk-up basis?

Friends are looking at catching the 7:28 train from Gare du Nord; I can see on the sncf website that there are prems fares available, but am not sure whether a reservation is essential - there doesn't seem to be a huge difference between prems and ordinary fares on this particular journey.

Many thanks, Di
