Dear Courtney: I think we've been covering this in the past week or so; so you may want to check oast message boards. Those of us who have made the trip for the most part swear by the Eurostar--the train that runs between Waterloo Station in London (with its own entrance, emigration officials, spiffy trains, the works) and the Gare du Nord in Paris (same deal). The price varies according to time of day and time of year. Both BritRail and SNCF have websites (which I believe were mentioned in the previous discussion). The trip takes about three hours in either direction and one can book either first or second class. My recommendation is book second--how uncomfortable can you get in a three-hour trip on a supertrain on which all seats are comfortable and refreshments are available? Have a good trip! Joan
