Train from Paris to Florence in June

Jump to last reply

We are a group of 6 family members that need to go from Paris to Florence on June 27. I'm hoping to book all of us in one 6-berth couchette cabin. The problem is:

1. Thello.com keeps saying the lowest rate is not available anymore, and to choose another rate, but it doesn't give me options. Or the options are all not available either.

2. I've checked Trenitalia.com, it won't allow me to book more than 5 people at one time, and the couchette assignments are automatic.

3. There seem to be tickets (priced much higher) in Rail Europe, but it says that the tickets have to be mailed to an address in the UK.

I live in Asia and am booking this by credit card, hoping to get e-tickets in the process. Can the train experts give me advise on how to accomplish buying these tickets?

My dates are not so flexible as this is just one leg of a trip which is quite involved with train and plane tickets, hotel and farmhouse bookings already done. We are hoping to go by train because some people in the group don't want to fly.

Thanks for any suggestions you may have!
