train from lyon to geneva, bern or zurich

Jump to last reply

Am trying to meet up with some German friends this summer in Switzerland on the weekend of July 9th.

I am staying in France just south of Lyon and was wondering where to start in my search for figuring out how to take the train from Lyon to either Geneva or Bern or Zurich?

I will be met by friends who will drive down from Konstanz and am trying to just have them meet me at the train station and then we will drive back up to Germany for a few days. What would be the easiest/most convenient city for me to take the train to in terms of meeting up with people? I don't really want to have to change trains if I can help it. I would like a direct train from Lyon to one of the cities I listed in Switzerland.

Thanks in advance for your replies!
