Train from Lucerne to Geneva

Jump to last reply

Traveling by train from Wisenbaden to Geneva, but thought we would go out of our way to stop in Lucerne and then take the fast train to Geneva. Wanted to know if this would be scenic, and what we could expect. We wanted to take the Golden Pass but don't have the time. Is this worth doing or is there a better place to stop for the night between Germany and Geneva. Ultimate destination is to be able to spend 6 hours in Geneva seeing the sights before heading on to Paris.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
