Train

I am trying to book a train ticket from Paris to Brussels. I want a ticket that I can print from my e-mail. What is the correct website? Thanks

https://www.thalys.com/fr/en/

I used this a couple of years ago and remember it being very simple and pretty inexpensive.

There are several, all should sell at the same prices:

www.thalys.com (Thalys themselves, a consortium of French, Belgian Dutch Railways)

www.b-europe.com (Belgian Railways) - the best site to use if booking through to or from other Belgian destinations such as Bruges or Ghent.

www.capitainetrain.com (private agency which links to French Railways, same prices, no fees, easier to use)

I found the www.thalys.com site to use very easy and even last August with only a week or so notice I booked 29 euros fares from Paris to Brussels. But at times you may pay much more on short notice so book ASAP. Great sites for learning about Thalys and European trains: www.seat61.com, Man in Seat 61 who posts above - his commercial site; www.ricksteves.com; www.budgeteuropetravel.com.

Sometimes first-class Thalys tickets - discounted ones - can be not much higher or on occasion as cheap as 2nd and if so book them - nice full fare and wine, etc and bigger seats.

The ABS fare can be purchased for I believe 5 euros extra over the cost of a Thalys ticket - it gives you the right to hop any train from Brussels or your Belgian arrival station to any other Belgian station within 24 hours of your Thalys train arrival (may be 48 jhours?) - so if going to other Belgian towns that is a great deal.
