Tours of Ufizzi and l'Accademia in Florence
My friends and I are trying to decide if its worth it to book tours of the Ufizzi and l'Accademia for 27 euros per person for each museum (includes admission), or should we just make reservations on our own to see them. What do you think?

Hi E,
Unless you are a dedicatd fan of Renaissance Art, I think that the most important items in the Accademia are "David" and "The Prisoners".
Most of the great works at the Uffizi are in one or two rooms.
A good guide book, or some research on the internet will be very useful.
I don't recommend guides.

Someone should do a podcast. Then you don't even have to rent an audio guide.
Not really. Found some podcasts for MoMA but when I went, they were letting you use the audio guides for free.
But the podcasts, done by grad art students, were funny.
