Tour at Vatican seems impossible to request!?
My husband and I were trying to request a tour of the vatican museum/sistine chapel from teh Vatican themselves.
On their site they say the only way we can do this is through fax...which seems absolutely impossible, as we've tried numerous times.
Has anyone else had a problem with this? And if so, can anyone recommend another tour option?
Thanks in advance,
Samantha

Many people have managed to get through...
No offence, but did you dial the international access code and the country code before the city code and the telephone number:
011-39-06-6988-5100
If you can fax now, it might be a good time; it's 3:22 a.m. (I think; Italy hasn't shifted to DST yet) there now, and the line is not likely to be busy.

We did that number..with the international code, country code, etc...but seemed impossible.
We also knew it was about 2AM there!
Although we were faxing from someone elses fax...we'll try another one again.
Thanks!

Hi Sammygrll, I don't know if the Vatican does or not but I know some businesses in Italy for some reason turn off their Fax Machines during non business/non operating hours when no employee is in the office.
