Toddler stroller - Yes or No for Switzerland trip?

Hi All,

We plan to go to Switzerland with my 2 yo boy from October 10th - 24th. The itinerary will be arrive in Zurich airport then go to Zermatt (2 days), Lauterbrunnen/Wengen (3 days), Lucerne (3 days), then back to Zurich airport.
Will it worth it to bring our boy's stroller for this trip or it will be a big no no and causing more hustle instead? Yes, my boy can walk already but as for 2 yo boy.. he doesn't listen and follow command well yet and just follow his toddler instinct which will run fast just to see a butterfly or jump to the water right away to see any fish. It will be too tiring for us to carry him around but considering we will walk and catch a train a lot makes me wonder if it worth it or not to have 1 extra stroller in our hand during this trip.

Would like to hear your opinion based on your experience. Thanks!

We always took a stroller with kids of that age. On most planes you can take it on top of your luggAge.
And your kid will be able to sleep in it.
I would say a big yes.

Yes, to some kind of stroller. It will be worth any "hassle".

If you take a stroller make sure it is sturdy enough to deal with cobblestone streets and also figure out what you will do if you take any short hikes from the villages on the lower slopes of the mountains.

I would also take a harness/leash for use when he won;t sit in the stroller any longer - so you don't lose control of him.

Consider a baby backpack. Our toddlers liked to be up high so they felt part of the action and much easier for us on rough ground. Some come with wheels so double as a light weight stroller. All generally have storage for nappies, wipes, drinks, etc.

There should be a law against harness and leash for children.
Or the parents should teach their kids to bark.
We also had a backpack for kids at that age. Depends on his/her weight.
