to travel from Heathrow airport to Green Park tube station

Hi guys
I ask this question because I think the taxi must be very expensive. We are a couple and took two medium suitcases. Really the direction we are going is 54 Kennington Road, London, SE1 7BJ. We believe that Green Park is the closest.
Thanks in advance.

The most hassle-free option - without changes - is to take the Underground (Piccadilly line). Plan at tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/ (select »Underground« via the »Travel options« button).

The link doesn't seem to work. I try again: https://tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/

We've done taxis, the Heathrow Express, and we've done car services from LHR (going slightly further than you are) and after the last trip we've finally decided that when we return to London in two weeks we will once again use the Tube. No more stuck in traffic in a taxi or in a car service vehicle; no changes at Paddington, etc.

Green Park has some stairs you'll need to negotiate to get you up to the street level.

If it's the Days Inn at 54 Kennington Rd you mean, then Green Park tube station is nowhere near. You need Lambeth North.

Ignore the first three posts. You are not not staying anywhere near Green Park and you don't want to change at Green Park either.

To get to your hotel you need to take the Piccadilly line from LHR to Piccadilly Circus then change to the Bakerloo line south.

Either that or pre-book a car service like justairports.com It will cost a lot more than the tube but a lot less than a taxi and would be easier w/ luggage.
