To all trolls

Please at least try to amuse us with your posts - not use faux queries that are as old as the hills! I would think a little use of your imagination would be able to turn up something new - we've had rampaging criminals, $ tippers and bogus european college students to last a lifetime.

They already are amusing..not the posts..the responses..since you FINALLY get to know what those who post REALLY think!

I do enjoy seeing how worked up people get. Learn to recognise trolls.

In my mind, the trolls are miserable 13-14 year old pimply faced kids who get their jollies by provoking posters. I suspect if posters would not fall for their antics they would move on soon enough >

Somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed...

"if posters would not fall for their antics" - IS THE KEY, but people like to communicate and show how smart they are, so WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, nytraveler ? See the troll, spit and move along.

~Trolls are good for letting your frustration out.~

<<miserable 13-14 year old pimply faced kids who get their jollies by provoking posters>>

Projecting, a little bit, from your own youth?

I think they do exist, only "in your mind", as you suggested.

I cannot think of any evidence to indicate that young teens post here, provocatively or otherwise - - with the rare exception of a few very polite youngsters, who identified themselves as such, and wrote well thought out questions, in exemplary fashion.

The bashing of imaginary adolescents is as vulgar as any racist or other hate language I can think of.

Best wishes,

Rex

Trolls are often entertaining. Sometimes they leave us guessing .... "Could a real person ever be that uninformed?"

Ziana (fka Tat) has certainly had me waffling on whether or not she is a troll. Her recent post on the US board inquiring about whether one can fly to Hawaii or whether one needs a passport has finally convinced me - Yes. (http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34493508)

I do miss Degas. There was never any doubt about what he was. But he was ALWAYS entertaining.

carol,
what was so troll about my post? My mother is turning 60 this year and she does NOT have US papers yet. I dream to make it spesial. So, what is your problem, troll-catcher? Next time you are troll-hunting remind me to send you my "Not-a-troll" certificate.
