I am flying to Berlin via Munich very soon. Because of various health problems I have requested wheelchair assistance.
Would d tip of 5€ be appropriate? Or is it stingy?
What about 10€?.
As far as I know I do NOT need to change terminals because all flights are on the same airline - Lufthansa.
Tipping in the airport in Germany

I'd say E5 is generous. I would probably tip no more than E3 unless you have a ton of luggage.
Do you give $5 (or equivalent) at home or do you give more?
The last time I used a wheelchair I was in Atlanta. The young man met us on Concourse C and wheeled me to the train. From there we went to baggage claim. From there he pushed me to where the parking lot shuttles stop on the other side of the MARTA station
All and all he was with us for a long time. I thought $5.00 was adequate. I held my big suitcase in my lap because it would not fit where on the wheelchair.
I don't know how far I need to go to reach my connecting flight.
People I know in the US usually tip $5. I'm sure you'll get the European perspective tomorrow.
It really doesn't matter how long the person stays with you or how far it is between gates since they're being paid to be there with you if it's 30 minutes or 5 hours.
I do not think E5 is stingy.
Enjoy your trip!!
imo 5€ is fine. I'd tip the hairdresser 3€ and he's always happy. They don't get a high wage in those professions and your tip will be appreciated.
