Tipping in Slovenia

Slovenes generally don't tip anyone, and very few people in the service industry even expect tips from foreigners. Rounding up a bill in a restaurant or for a taxi in the city is usually appreciated, but if you're paying a fixed price of €30 for a taxi I wouldn't worry about it.

re: €30 for a taxi ride, I assume it's from the airport to LJ, which is actually a decent price - the lowest you'll ever get is €25 and most tourists end up paying €40+. I would also strongly advise against ever taking a taxi in LJ from one of the taxi ranks - calling one guarantees you the lowest prices (if not necessarily the most direct route for non-locals).....
