Tipping in Slovenia

In Slovenia, if a taxi ride costs 30 Euros, how much should one tip the driver? There will be two of us, each with one suitcase.

Slovenes generally don't tip anyone, and very few people in the service industry even expect tips from foreigners. Rounding up a bill in a restaurant or for a taxi in the city is usually appreciated, but if you're paying a fixed price of €30 for a taxi I wouldn't worry about it.

Enjoy your time in Slovenia!

You are probably being overcharged.

re: €30 for a taxi ride, I assume it's from the airport to LJ, which is actually a decent price - the lowest you'll ever get is €25 and most tourists end up paying €40+. I would also strongly advise against ever taking a taxi in LJ from one of the taxi ranks - calling one guarantees you the lowest prices (if not necessarily the most direct route for non-locals).....

tipping for taxi ride is not common here specially if the bill is that high. But if you hire a taxi in Downtown and round up from 2,80 to three euros is appreciated.
