tiny speakers for iPod shuffle?
Just received an iPod shuffle as a gift and can't believe how tiny & light it is -- already looking forward to travelling with it. Can anyone recommend some small, lightweight speakers that are iPod shuffle-compatible? Maybe some that fold up or pack easily? I don't expect the best sound quality in the world, just decent & travel-friendly, for relaxing in the hotel room with a glass of wine & a little music. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I recently bought a small zippered CD case, with a speaker in the lid. I got it from Brookstone. I think it was $40. Not the best sound quality, but perfect for listening to music in a hotel room, which is exactly what I wanted it for.

Took my Shuffle on its first trip in April. It was fabulous on the plane. I just left it around my neck the whole time, moved the earphones back and forth between the onboard entertainment and the shuffle.
Robespierre's suggestion is what I would get. I believe it's a docking station with speakers.

OK, I am posting a follow-up because I ended up doing a lot of research and a lot of listening, and finally bought something I am happy with. In case anybody else is looking for something like this, I ended up finding some great little speakers by Creative TravelSound (it is called the the i300) which were very inexpensive (relative to Altec Lansing and a few other brands which were pricier). They fold down to about 2 inches by 2.5 inches by 6. They sound terrific with my iPod shuffle. It is not a "docking station" like some others but I did not care about that. They run on 4 AAA batteries (or you can plug them in). I bought them from buy.com but they also sell them on amazon.com and other places, and there is currently a $30 rebate being offered on them (at least at both of those sites), plus free shipping if you take the least speedy option. After rebate, the total price was around $35. There were certainly other speakers I could have bought that were cheaper, but they sounded terrible to me. There of course were more expensive speakers as well, most of which were larger and heavier and bulkier and generally less travel-friendly, in addition to which I was not terribly impressed with the sound. These were pretty much exactly what I was looking for, pricewise, sizewise, and soundwise. Looking forward to enjoying them next week in Greece!

Try www.apple.com, they have lots of IPOD and IPOD Mini accessories and they may have stuff for the shuffle. My son has all sorts of gadgets to go with his. He bought the docking station that comes with 2 small speakers. He gave up his entire stereo system replace it with this tiny white system.

I bought my daughter a PodGear Shuffle Station.
It is a portable 2.0 stereo speaker system and charging dock for the ipod shuffle. It runs on batteries, or from an AC adapter.
It cost about £35 GBP, and we found it at
