time to leave my beloved Europe and return to my home

Another month has gone by, and another trip has come to a close.

It was very interesting to say the least...two snow storms in Rome that essentially shut down the city and much of the country.

Beautiful, but cold weather in both Ercolano and Firenze. Are American college girls really that obnoxious at 2 am that they need to get crazy drunk and scream in the streets at the top of their lungs every night, while the guys try to get them to be quiet? Weird.

Paris, weather forecast was for bad weather, but we got really lucky and it has been beautiful for many of the days we were here. Beautiful at Versailles, but wow was the wind cold. London, yep decided to do a day trip on one of the windy, cold, rainy days just like I figured most of the trip would be, but wasn't. Oh well, got some great lamb stew.

So now it is time to fly home, we'll miss you, until next time

It seems Rome does that to American college.
You don't see that in Paris.

Actually, the crazed American college kids were in Firenze, not Rome. It was absolutely nuts, every single night, from midnite on packs of super drunk girls were staggering around. Yep I knew they were from the U.S. because of how loud they were yelling, so real easy to hear them.

I live in Georgetown (DC) and have to put up with the Georgetown Univ. guys who get drunk and roam the streets yelling at night. I guess the girls go to Italy and the guys stay home.
